THE BEST PARK - THE BEST PRICE
The biggest change in the history of The Camp of Champions is happening this year. We've changed our price to reflect the savings our park size now allows us to take advantage of. Overnight camp is now $1885 CAD compared to $2395 CAD in 2010. Camp Park Only Access is $695 CAD compared with $995 CAD in 2010. CRAZY!
LOOKS LIKE A SNOWBOARD CAMP - MUST BE A SNOWBOARD CAMP
You can't compare apples to oranges. The Camp of Champions Snowpark is at least double and sometimes triple the size of every other camps park or parks. We are bringing back our two handle tows so now you can do half laps OR full laps on the T-Bar. COC campers get on the lift at 7:15 AM and are riding by 8:00AM. We ride until 3PM. At Mt Hood you are on the snow at about 10:30AM and ride until 2:30PM. A big difference. The internet has helped make it easy for other camps to make it look like, in parents eyes, that their camp is the same quality as The Camp of Champions world class camp. The "looks like a snowboard camp, smells like a snowboard camp - must be a snowboard camp" situation made it so campers that wanted to hit The Camp of Champions for it's larger and superior terrain park and top level coaching, were ending up at other camps because Mom and Dad say, "This camp looks the same to me as COC and it's $500 cheaper - we're sending you there." Now your parents can't say that anymore, you don't have to ride an inferior park to save money. We are over $500 cheaper for the summer of 2011.
HOW WE DID IT
It has taken us 5 years of planning to get to this day. It seemed like forever. For the last five years we have been expanding our on snow footprint as much as possible. Our park, that was already the largest summer park in the universe, grew 20% in size last summer and in the last five years it has grown a whopping 50%. Now that we have finished getting all the extra terrain we can finally pass on the savings all that extra size gives us so that everyone who couldn't afford COC before will now be able to now.
COMPARE CAMPS - PLEASE
When you and your parents compare camps (and we hope you do), check their videos. It's seems like what you actually waited all year for and you are coming for is an after thought. Snowboarding is why you are coming to camp. With our new pricing that the size of our park lets us make happen, you don't have to end up at a snowboard camp with an inferior park just to save money. You can now come to The Camp of Champions for the same price or less as any other snowboard camp. We have just as much fun at The Camp of Champions as anywhere else, but we are all about getting you better at snowboarding, with coaching by some of the top pros in the world in the best summer park on earth so that you can progress like crazy.
LIVE FIVE MINUTES FROM THE LIFT
Whistler is so fantastic, even the Olympics wanted to be here. Whether you were at another camp, wishing you were riding the COC park, or already a COC hardcore regular, this is the most affordable year to come to camp ever. The Camp of Champions has it all - Live at the base of the mountain, 5 minutes from the lift, snowboard the best park on earth and have the most fun week of your life.
RIDE MORE = LEARN MORE = GET SPONSORED = GO PRO
At COC you are on snow, riding, getting coached and learning for 3 hours longer a day than camps at Mt. Hood. Our system works. Six of the top seven finishers (we missed silver) in the 2010 Men's Olympic Halfpipe Event were camp alumni - former and current campers and coaches. If Slopestyle is included in the 2014 Olympics, our results should be the same or better for slopestyle. We have the ONLY Olympic caliber slopestyle park. It shows that what we do, and how we do it, works. If you really want to get better at snowboarding and have an insanely great time, make a million new friends from all over the world - come to The Camp of Champions and get your shred on, not your face paint. Who knows? We could be bragging about you like we brag about a lot of our coaches, saying we knew you when... When you were a camper, before your life changed because you came to The Camp of Champions. Before you got sponsored, went pro, won contests and then came back to be a coach.

The best days are days you ride with your friends. Imagine if your friends were the people you saw in magazines and videos, throwing down just for you, and showing you how you can do it too? That is your week at The Camp of Champions. A week hanging with new friends that are top pros, teaching you everything you could ever want to know, in the most fun environment anywhere.
Every summer the first thing we do after everyone has gone home and the memories are still fresh, we dissect camp and see how we can do it better. We take all our coaches input, campers input, things we saw, things we thought of, things people asked us on Pinkbike and try incorporate as much of it as possible into the next years camp.
Whistler is the center of the universe for snowboarding skiing and mountain biking. The Camp of Champions has the largest private snowpark in the world. How does this affect you since you are only here to mountain bike? Size matters. We have over 1000 campers every summer divided between all three sports. This lets us do things that only we can do since we have the scale to pull it off. Last year we built "The Compound" our private dirt jump, mulch pit, and 365 Sports Big Air Bag, bike riding paradise. Campers thought it was the coolest thing ever. Our scale helped us get the most amazing bikes for campers to ride. This year our scale has allowed us to bring down the price of camp to a level that opens up riding in Whistler to almost everyone. Our goal with camp is to get as many people as possible stoked on biking and stoked on Whistler. With our overnight camp priced $400 cheaper than in 2010, camp is going to sell out fast so get your friends together, pick your week and get ready for the most fun week of riding you'll have in your entire life.
When I started The Camp of Champions Mountain Bike Camp I had a few goals that I wanted us to achieve as a camp. They are almost the same goals I had for our snowboard and ski camp. The first, main goal was to give campers the best week of their life, while learning to ride better, on bikes you can usually only dream of, with some of the best up and coming pros as coaches. The second goal was for camp to find the best up and coming riders to be the coaches and coaches in training. The third goal was to create a facility and coaching environment where the coaches could progress their abilities as much as the campers do, then have them go on to slay it in the contest world. At Crankworx, after watching the VW Best Trick and seeing Greg Watts win the first heat, then the next day watching our crew take 2,3,4,5,7,9,17 and 23rd in the Monster Energy Slopestyle, I was so proud to see our coaches and coaches in training, become the "New Guard". I guess our up and coming coaches are no longer up and coming! They're here - and they will teach you so much that you won't believe it. You get to ride with Greg Watts, Mike Montgomery, Casey Groves, Alan Hepburn, Xavier Raventos,Kelly McGarry, Sam Dueck, Andrew Taylor, Jack Fogelquist, Katie Holden, Ryan Berrecloth, Brett Tippie, Mike Hopkins, Justin Wyper and many more. Gareth Dyer holds it down as the head coach making sure that everyone learns as much as possible and has more fun than should be allowed.
When you are a Camp of Champions camper that chooses the option to ride our demo bikes, you will be riding the best DH bikes in the universe, spec'd to a level that you wouldn't believe. Riders at Sea Otter couldn't believe the bikes campers get to ride. They asked if they were our bikes. We replied... "No, those are our demos." We worked hard to add part sponsors to our already incredible stable of bike sponsors so that when you ride our bikes you can learn what makes them fast. Shaun Palmer who used to be one of our snowboard coaches, says "You can't be as fast as possible until you learn what makes your bike fast for you" so we wanted to help everyone learn what they liked and how changing components could help them get fast. Ride a TR-450 with Maxxis High Rollers then try the same bike with Minions. Ride a bike with a Fox shock and then ride the same bike with an X-Fusion Shock or an Elka. Then try the same thing on a Santa Cruz V-10, Morewood Makulu or a Banshee Legend Mark II. Not sure what kind of bike you like for jumping? How about trying Spank Tweet Tweets, NS Bikes Metropolis 1, 2 and 3?
Our "thing" is to make sure you have the best time ever and to help you learn as much as possible to make you a better rider and do whatever it takes to make that happen. No other camp anywhere has the dedication to making this happen like COC. We aren't figureheads. Camp isn't something we think of every time a paycheck arrives, it's not a job, it's our life. We think of camp and how to make it better 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. It drives our friends and families insane, but it sure makes for an awesome camp.
COC is a summer camp, but not a summer camp just for kids. Twenty percent of our campers are adults and they have just as much fun as our under 19 campers. COC is about riding and getting better, we don’t care how old or young you are… you shouldn’t either.
Camp gives you a taste of your future. All you have to do is wake up in the morning, hop onto the lift, reach out and grab it to start living the dream. COC will change your life, be the best week of your life and be the start of your new life. Who knows? We could be bragging about you like we brag about a lot of our coaches, saying we knew you when... When you were a camper, before your life changed because you came to The Camp of Champions. Before you got sponsored, went pro, won contests and then came back to be a coach.
See you this summer... .
See you this summer...
