We'll give you a hard time if you sleep in. You've only got a few precious days at
camp, you can sleep when you go home. You're at the best
mountain bikesnowboard & ski camp in North
America, you're supposed be so tired from riding that you can barely get up in the morning. Once you do get up you always have an epic day!
The good thing about Bike Camp is the lifts open at 10 so
you can sleep in every morning till we meet for breakfast at 9:00 AM If you don't feel
like getting up because you are too tired, just meet us at 1:00pm for lunch and just
ride the afternoon session only. If you miss that session you're spending the day hanging
in the village. We don't have any activities before 4:30 because we want you to ride
every day.
If you don't feel like getting up early, you can get a ticket up until
9:00am but remember no lift tickets are issued after that time. After that, you're spending
the day hanging in the village. We don't have any activities before 4:30 because we
want you to ride every day.
No, we have adults and kids together in all the sessions, male and female. Whistler
has so many different distractions depending on your age, that every session is an adult
camp or a kid camp. It just depends on what you like to do. Also as an adult you realize
that the coaches don't bite so you hang out with them more than the kids. Also we have
quite a few adults at each session so you mostly hang with your own age group. The other
good thing about having kids and adults in the same session is it keeps adults from
acting their age.
If you are thinking, "Am I too old for camp?" forget it it. Just by looking at this
website and thinking about coming is all the proof you need that you are not too old.
It's all about attitude not age. Come to camp, change your life.
Most of our campers are from North America, 55% from the USA, 40% from Canada, 5%
from Europe. Depending on the session we have 20% girls attending each week.
We won't know what our staffing requirements are until we know what staff are returning. We have a very low staff turn over but we do have volunteer positions open up every summer. We will be accepting resumes as of March 1st. If you are in Whistler stop by our office, a little face time never hurts.
The Ultimate Summer Camp Experience
We used that quote to describe camp before the camps that are now knocking it off were even
conceived. We actually stopped using the saying because all the other camps claiming it had
made it meaningless.
After over 20 years as the industry leader and originator of most of the things that
are taken for granted as normal in snowboard, ski and mountain bike camps we are
almost getting used to other camps knocking off parts of our website, tag lines,
pull quotes and code. We urge you to read between the lines of every camp website
as others can copy the words and flavor of our website but they can't copy the experience
that is the COC experience. Just because it looks similar doesn't mean the experience is the same.
Our website is deep and all encompassing. We want everyone to know exactly what they
will be getting when they sign up for The Camp of Champions. We don't think there
should be any gray areas in a summer camp website. As we are responsible for
your child, we want you to know everything about us and how we operate. Gray areas
are where bad experiences have the opportunity to begin. "I didn't read anything
about this..." Our attention to detail makes it easy for other camps to copy
our words, our tag lines and more, thinking copied words and tag lines make a
summer camp. Happily, their laziness makes it easy for us to lead. If you aren't
leading you're following. We lead by example. Every word, photo, tag line and
bit of creativity on this site is our own and we are very proud of it.
