How soon do I have to sign up?

Every year The Camp of Champions gets more and more popular. Last year parents were signing their kids up for next summer before the campers had even left Whistler. Crazy I know, but it sure let us know how much fun everyone had. Camp really starts filling quickly once February rolls around. About the beginning of April a lot of sessions start getting close to sold out. As soon as you know which session you want, don't delay, as you might not get your first pick of the session you want. You can register right up to the start of the camp if we have space. If you know you are coming for sure, sign up early, pay in full, and if you are one of the first 50 to sign up in any of the three sports and receive a bonus pack that includes $500 in sponsor treasure. If you do "Deposit Only" you will receive a $100 in sponsor treasure.

but if you register after June 1st 2012, payment in full is due upon registration.

Does the cost of camp include airfare?

No. Please contact your local travel agent or find low cost airfare websites on the internet to book your flight. Please remember, you must arrive into Vancouver airport on the Sunday of whatever camp you selected, within our scheduled times. Arrive between 11am - 4pm, and depart after 11am. We have everyone at the airport at 9 am on the departure day so everyone can make 11 am flights. If your flight is at 4 it's a long boring day.

Day Camp Includes

Day Camp is the same as overnight camp except you make your own sleeping arrangements. When you register you select as much camp or as little camp as you like. Once you select the session you want, you add in Compound access or transportation as required. Our registration form is slightly confusing, but we have tried to make it so you can save as much money as possible by helping you select the exact camp build you want.

Park Access Only Camp Includes

  1. Park Access
  2. Lift Tickets

Airport transfers, food, and accommodation can me added as optional extras.

What's NOT included in the camp price?

Dinner in the evening is not included but can be purchased as an optional extra by logging in to your account by clicking on the "Register" page and entering your password. Bedding is not included. Campers should bring their own sleeping bag an pillow. If you don't feel like traveling with a sleeping bag and pillow we have a Bedding Rental Program for $50 per 8 day session. Airfare to Vancouver is NOT included in the camp price. Extra paintballs are not included. Know that when we designed camp we designed it to be that once kids get to camp it should be the same amount of fun for everyone, not a "Fun dependent on how much money you have" experience.

How do I register and pay for camp?

You can

Register Online

or call our office at 1-888-997-CAMP Toll Free. If you are from outside North America call us at 1-604-966-4699. You can also get us on skype at "campofchampions"

A deposit is due upon submission of camp registration. This deposit is non-refundable UNLESS you purchase the optional "Cancellation Insurance".

Please note, the registration is not valid unless it is accompanied with the appropriate deposit and signed waiver. The remaining final full payment must be made or the registration is not valid. This means we cannot guarantee a position for that camper, even if we have received the deposit. The deadline for payment is critical because we have to pay Whistler Blackcomb, and all other facilities included in the camp experience at this time.

The best method of payment is by money order. If you live in the USA or other countries your credit card provider usually adds on a terrible exchange rate and service charges, making camp more expensive. We accept VISA or MasterCard. We do not accept American Express. Enter your credit card details online, where it is extremely secure, or call us with the details, where it is equally secure.

Unfortunately, we do not accept personal checks anymore, due to an unacceptable amount of insufficient funds, bounced checks. Therefore, any checks sent in the mail must be money orders, bank drafts or certified.

What is HST?

"HST" is the "Harmonized Sales Tax" that the Canadian government makes us collect on every purchase. We don't charge it, we just collect it.

What's "Cancellation Insurance"?

If you purchase our Cancellation Insurance at the time of registration and you subsequently need to cancel, you get all your money back minus the cost of the insurance provided that the cancellation is made in writing more than seven (7) day prior to the start of your session. There are no stipulations on why you had to cancel. Just let us know in writing that you can't come and we will take care of the rest.

Details of our optional cancellation insurance.

What if I don't buy the Cancellation Insurance?

If you don't buy Cancellation Insurance at the time of registration, be aware that the deposit is completely non-refundable and non-transferable from the moment you register.

Also be aware that after June 1st 2012 there are no refunds whatsoever, if you have to cancel, no matter what the reason is.

What is Injury Insurance?

Injury Insurance purchased at the time of registrations enables you to receive a partial refund for the camp fee if you are injured and have to return home. It does not cover any medical fees or any cost incurred in returning home. It is simply an insurance that enables you to receive a partial refund on camp fees in case you have to return home due to injury. It does not cover leaving camp due to "homesickness"

What's the "Daily Compensation Refund"?

The Daily Compensation Refund only applies if you purchased our Injury Insurance at the time of registration and the camper gets injured DURING camp.

Check the Daily Compensation and Injury Insurance Details for an example of how the daily compensation refund works.

What's the "Waiver Form"?

This is an extremely important part of the registration process. It ensures that the camper will receive prompt medical attention if they become ill or injured. There is nothing worse than being in pain and not being able to see the doctor because we don't have your medical information. You are not considered registered until we receive your returned waiver. It is in the Confirmation email you received after booking your session. It is in the form of a Docusign electronic signature form.

See the PDF version of the waiver and print a copy if you wish.

What's your cancellation policy?

Please understand that these policies are in place for a reason, and we have to abide by them, no matter what the circumstances. We cannot deviate from them. All cancellations must be done in writing.

If you cancel your camp registration, AND DID PURCHASE OUR CANCELLATION INSURANCE at the time of registration here is our policy:

  • If you purchased our Cancellation Insurance at the time of registration, you get all your money back minus the cost of the insurance. This applies up until seven (7) days BEFORE your camp session starts, so you are completely covered up until that point.
  • If you purchased our Cancellation Insurance at the time of registration, you can cancel for ANY REASON UP SEVEN (7) DAYS BEFORE YOUR CAMP STARTS it doesn't matter to us. For instance, if the camper gets injured before their camp starts, a family emergency occurs or the camper doesn't make the grade at school, you get all your money back (minus the cost of the insurance).
  • If you purchased our Injury Insurance at the time of registration, and get injured DURING camp, different rules apply.

If you cancel your camp registration, AND DID NOT PURCHASE OUR CANCELLATION INSURANCE at the time of registration here is our policy:

    • The deposit amount you have paid is completely non-refundable and non-transferable.
    • UP UNTIL June 1st 2012 you will get any remaining money back, MINUS the non-refundable deposit.
    • AFTER June 1st 2012 , there are absolutely no refunds, for whatever reason and you will lose the all money paid to Camp of Champions. No exceptions.

    CANCELLATION INSURANCE Does Not COVER...

    • Cancellation Insurance is not medical coverage.
    • Any associated costs you may incur if you become ill or injured during camp.
    • Cancellation Insurance does not cover any associated travel costs in getting back home such as new flights, car rental, different accommodations and so on.
    • The daily compensation refund does not apply if you decide to still stay in our facility and care in Whistler, even although you cannot ride or participate in other camp activities.
    • The daily compensation refund does not apply if you DID NOT purchase the Cancellation Insurance at the time of registration.
    • There are no compensation refunds or refunds of any kind if your reason for departure from camp is homesickness.
