At The Camp of Champions we are all about progressing your ability in the park. Having said that, there is more to getting better at riding park than having a coach saying, "Send it!" He knows you can do it and it's just the push you need to stomp it.
You might be the next legend
There's a reason six of the top seven finishers at the 2010 Olympics in the Men's Pipe event were Camp of Champions alumni, camper's and coaches. COC was the first summer camp that legends like Shaun White, Travis Rice, CR Johnson, Jon Olsson, Hendrik Windstedt, Simon Chamberlain, JP Walker, TJ Schneider, Peter Line, Jamie Lynn and so many others came to and got their start, and you should too. You never know where you life will end up.
Building Blocks
Our job is to teach you as much as we possibly can while doing so as safely as possible. That is why our coaches teach you tricks progressively. The "You have to learn this trick before you learn that trick" sort of thing. It's how you build the building blocks to get where you want to go with as little trauma as possible. It also helps you learn things once you get home after camp. By teaching you the building blocks, if you didn't quite nail all the tricks you wanted to while you were at camp, you can apply the building blocks you did learn so you can continue learning once you get home.
At The Camp of Champions and riding in general, if you aren't crashing you are learning. Having said that, we try to keep the crashing to a minimum and the learning to a maximum.
