The COC Park will be 20% Larger for 2012
We've done it again. Our park is growing by 20% again for the summer of 2012. The new area will be packed full of fun features so our park won't just be bigger, it will be better too.
The Only Olympic Caliber Slopestyle Park
As the COC park is "So damn big" as more than one pro put it, The Camp of Champions is the only summer camp with an Olympic size and caliber slopestyle park. If your dream is 2014, it's time to come to The Camp of Champions.
It's All About Quality
Two of the most important things about any camp are the quality of the park and the quality of the coaches. COC has both things nailed. The best park on earth and the best coaches you will find at any camp. The Olympics thought so much of Steve Petrie our park builder and designer that they asked him to build the Olympic Pipe for the 2010 Olympic Games where six of the top seven (we missed the silver) finalists were former or current campers or coaches.
Best Park, Winter or Summer
Steve Petrie of Arena Snowparks designs, builds and grooms the Camp of Champions terrain park. Our park is designed with lines and flow so it rides like an all time winter park. It just happens to be summer. You know the COC park is "REALLY THAT GOOD" when all the pros rank it better than almost every resort on earth's winter park. That is our goal for COC. "The best park in the universe every summer" If our park just happens to be better than most winter parks - well that's OK too. As far as other camps claiming bigger or better parks... show us the photos. We haven't seen any photos that can back up their claims. Check out our park photos. Two Private Handle Tows and Shared T-Bar
This year we are bringing back our private handle tows so that you can do half laps on your favorite features in addition to doing full laps on the T-Bar that runs beside our park. We spent the last 5 years increasing our on snow park footprint so that when we brought back our private handle tows, we wouldn't be trading park features for the lifts, like occurs at other parks. We have increased the size of our park by 30% last year and doubled the size of our park in the last five years. COC is the only park where where the lifts aren't being traded for park features.
The Right Air Bag for The Job
In 2008 The Camp of Champions changed the summer camp world with the first air bag in North America. Ever since we've been searching for the right bags for the right job to help everyone progress as fast and safely as possible. It's how we ended up with 4 different Air Bags at COC. Specific bags designed for a specific purpose instead of a "One Size Fits All" like other camps have.
Four Air Bags
This summer The Camp of Champions has 4 air bags for you to session. We have them set up on different features so no matter what your ability level there is a bag set up to help you progress, it's not all big jumps. One of our Big Air Bags is set up on a smaller style jump that is the least intimidating Air Bag jump ever. The O'Neill Bag is set up on a bigger jump and the BagJump Vert Bag is set up in the Global Cutter Pipe and 1/4 Pipe. The fourth bag our other Big Air Bag is set up in The Compound on "The Launcher" an M-Snow and COC creation that lets you keep learning all afternoon. COC is the only camp with a variety of bags. The right bag for the right job.
Park Is Machine Groomed Every Night
The Camp of Champions has the only park anywhere that is COMPLETELY groomed by snowcat every night. The key to fast and safe progression is a perfectly groomed park. No other park comes close to the level of maintenance that we have. Every other camp uses hand labour for most of their tuning. Good but not great. COC's grooming is great.

Our buddy Adam Sullovey was sick of wishing he was at The Camp of Champions and hitting our park so he made a digital version of the COC park. It's awesome. You can roll in as a snowboarder or a skier and send it. It has hidden levels that you unlock when you learn tricks and stomp combos. There's rails, jumps everything that camp has.
