The Water Ramp training facility is amazing. Learn to spin or flip in the safety of the Canadian National Team Training Facility. The Water Ramps are jumps in different configurations so that you can learn whatever trick you want and land in water. It's great, you can totally shank it and still walk away from it laughing. If extreme skiing is "You fall you die", this is "Ex Stream Skiing" as former coach Shane McConkey's joke goes, because the water comes from a stream into the pool. In the water ramps it "You fall, you laugh" ,it's the perfect place to learn flips and off axis spins or any other trick you aren't sure you can land on your feet. The pool that you land in also has a "Bubbler", a series of vents at the bottom of the pool that purge air just before you hit the water so there is less surface tension and therefore a softer landing. Your knees will be stoked. Softer landings are great especially if the first thing that hits the water first is your face. We go to the water ramps twice a week.

High Performance Water Ramps Option

New for this year we have added a "High Performance Water Ramps" option. If you choose the option, you go to the water ramps for five evenings instead of two. If you want to push yourself to be the best skier you can be, you'll want to add this to your camp.
