SKATEBOARDING

Three Concrete Skateparks, A Covered 48' Wide Mini and a Street Plaza

This year we will not only be skating the perfect mini and crazy fun plaza at the Compound and the Whistler Skatepark, we will be hitting the epic park in Squamish and the brand new park in Pemberton that will be done in time for camp. Former campers and coaches, Jim Barnum, Brian Savard and numerous other former staff built all of the parks. It makes you feel like you are at home when you skate them.

48 Foot Wide Miniramp

"The Compound", our 15,000 square foot playground has a covered 48 foot wide mini ramp. Half of it is 5 feet high and the other half is a 3 feet high. Los Patinetas built the ramp and it's perfect. Nothing like learning from Tim Payne to make a ramp perfect. The sessions that went on this summer under the tent were amazing. Mike Montgomery slayed it on BMX,Eero Ettala and Sergi killed it on skates.

The Compound Plaza

Sergi loves skating the plaza in Barcelona and used it for the inspiration for the street plaza. Wood features that can be moved around to make for a constantly changing skate experience.

The Whistler Skatepark

The concrete skatepark is just down the hill from The Dorm. It's floodlit so you can skate anytime up till curfew. There are all kinds of features in the park to skate, everything from vert walls and corners, to a bowl and more. There are ledges and lots of street features too.

Squamish and Pemberton Skateparks

These two parks are just down and up the road from Whistler. We will be hitting them a few times a week as well so there is more stuff to skate than ever.
