The first thing we learned about running our own hotel - The Dorm, was that we needed a dedicated front desk. So last year we added a 24 hour front desk. Tony Medd, who in the real world runs the Aava Hotel in Whistler (It used to be the Coast Hotel, our old home), looks forward to camp almost more than the campers and us. It's the highlight of his year. So you know the posse he puts together to make it all happen is going to kill it. Peter, Jake and everyone that staffs the desk are cool.
Legion of Doom
"The Legion of Doom" our cleaners are awesome as well. Tony runs a tight, super fun ship so that when you come to camp you don't have to think about anything other than how to have fun and how you can have even more fun.
Need more TP or shampoo?
Out of shampoo, need some more TP (toilet paper), fresh towels, or have a clogged toilet? No problem. The front desk is there to ensure you have everything you need. Go to the office any time, day or night, and they'll get you what you need. They're also a great reference for the best places to eat in the village, where to find the best hang out spots, or just love to chat about your day and talk shop.

If you haven't heard from your son or daughter since you dropped them off at the airport, or need to get a hold of them and they're not answering their cellphone, call the front desk. We'll ensure your message gets to your son or daughter, or both, in a timely manner. We just can't guarantee they'll get back to you in a timely manner!
