COC's Park Will Be 20% Larger for 2012
For the last six years we have been expanding our on snow footprint as much as possible. Our park, that was already the largest summer park in the universe, is now going to grow another 20% for 2012. With this size addition we are now have double the size park that we had six years ago. All that extra size gives us price breaks that we pass on to you so that hopefully more people that couldn't afford COC before will now be able to.
2012 Is The Same Price as 2011
We have managed to keep our prices for 2012 the same as they were for 2011. We thought we should throw it out here so you know that what you look at the camp on this site and compare it to our competition, you'll see that our park is bigger and better and the price is smaller and better.
The Launcher
We weren't satisfied with Water Ramps as a place to learn so we came up with something better. We helped invent "The Launcher" with M-Snow. You can now hit a slopestyle jump into a Big Air Bag all day long, in"the Compound" using your energy to learn tricks instead of climb stairs. Best of all no water so you never get cold and you can do it any day. How does a day with 200 launches sound? Perfect?
Pay with Avion Frequent Flyer Points
Now you can book your camp and your flight with Avion Points. If you have more points than you know what to do with, you can now use them to come to camp. Phone up Royal Rewards at 1-800-769-2512 and let them know that you want to book a vacation package. If you say it's a camp, they lose the plot, but if you say it's a vacation package they understand and make it happen. "The Compound" Gets Bigger
We created "The Compound" a few years ago and it was such a huge hit that every year we make it bigger and better. The Big Air Bag will be back so you can learn all kinds of tricks that you would never have the nerve to learn on dirt or into a mulch pit. We are building side hits and different transition takeoffs into the Big Air Bag this year so you can learn sideways takeoffs and a larger variety of tricks. You learn tricks into the bag then take it to mulch and then finally dirt. It's so much better than foam, you'll never want to hit a foam pit again. We are also doubling the size of the mulch pit so we can have more different style takeoffs and teach you more stuff.
Specialized at COC... More Bikes... Again
Specialized Bikes and their epic Demo 8 are now in our demo fleet for 2012 because it wouldn't be a demo fleet with out an actual "Demo". Every year we want you to be able to ride the sickest bikes on earth. DH and DJ. Everyone has a different taste in what is his or her "Favorite Bike Ever" is. This summer you can ride Freeride, Race, Downhill and Slopestyle bikes from Transition, Banshee, Intense, Santa Cruz, Morewood, Spank, NS. We tried to get as many different types of bikes as possible so that you can test ride the bike of your dreams in the Whistler Bike Park and "The Compound" instead of just reading a review of it online. All the bikes are spec'd out by Spank, Straitline, Chromag, Race Face, Maxxis, Hadley, ODI and others. It's insane the spec's on the COC bikes. You can compare dream bikes to dream bikes at camp all while having an epic week riding the famous Whistler Bike Park. No other bike camp on the planet offers the variety of different bike types and brands as COC does for your exclusive use.

New Bike Coaches
We’ve added new coaches, with names and skills that will blow you away. That is, if you like riding with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th place finishers in the 2010 Monster Energy Slopestyle at Crankworx, or the 2009 Slopestyle winner and the 2010 Best Trick winner at Crankworx. We’ve also added more coaches. Eric Porter, Eric Lawrenuk, Anthony Messiere, and others. We added riders who have the magic combo - great personalities, the ability to ride like gods, coach like genius’s and crack jokes like comedians, so that the Camp of Champions experience is better than ever.
The coaching line up for summer 2012 features a broad spectrum of riders and riding styles, so that no matter what you want to get out of camp we have a coach that rules at that kind of riding and can teach you to rip it as well. Check our coaching page for the line up of coaches for this summer. There will be more coaches added as it gets closer to camp time.
Free Bikes and Frames.
We are known for giving away so much stuff that you go home feeling like you are sponsored. We stepped up this part of camp this year as well. Banshee and Transition are giving away a frame a week. Bigger, Better Compound... Again!
It seems like one thing you can count on every summer is "The Compound" getting bigger. Last year we added Dirt Jumps, a mulch pit and a Big Air Bag so campers could ride dirt jump bikes all afternoon and evening. This year we are adding more dirt jumps to the dirt jump area. We added a street set up to the skate zone and it will be bigger again for 2012.
More Items on The Dinner Plan
Because we kept hearing from parents that wanted to send their kids money because the camper had spent their dinner money on a backpack and a hoody instead of dinner and then were hungry at night. Now you can set up a dinner plan so you don't have to worry about eating at camp. If you go for the dinner plan, all your meals are included with camp.
Bigger, Better 6-10.
We called the COC convenience store in The Dorm, "6-10" because we joke that with it's Slurpee machine it's "Almost as Good as 7-11". The 6-10 rocks The Dorm with the slurpees, sodas, ice cream, samosas, tandoori wraps, candy, pizza, calzones, chips and chocolate/candy bars, ice cream and more. We are adding more food choices for the summer of 2012. Milkshakes were also the hit of the summer, coaches were calling our shakes the best in town, so that was cool. If you liked the 6-10 last year, you are going to love it for 2012

We're never satisfied with COC so we are always thinking up something new that will make camp even better. Better get up here and see what our imaginations have thought up now.
