Camp is Ridiculously Fun
The biggest reason The Camp of Champions has a 35% - 45% camper return ratio every year is because camp is ridiculously fun. Campers tell us every day, every week, every year that The Camp of Champions is the most fun week of their life.
Camp Will Change Your Life
It’s amazing how a person can roll up to camp, shy, nervous, sort of scared, maybe a little lonely and homesick and then by the end of the week be the life of their floor in the Dorm, happy, scared of nothing, a camper with a ton of new friends from around the world, that doesn’t even think of home until its time to get on the bus to the airport. That’s one way The Camp of Champions will change your life.
The second way The Camp of Champions will change your life is by starting you on the road to your dreams. The list of pros that have started at The Camp of Champions would boggle your mind. Travis Rice puts it this way. “The two summer that I came to Camp of Champions changed my life”. Shaun White says the same thing about his summer at COC when he was 6. The next winter he got sponsored. Mark Sollors, Danny Kass, Dan Brisse, LNP, Nick Sauve, JP Walker, Jamie Lynn, Peter Line… the list is endless. It’s a common occurrence at COC and what is so great about camp. Meet the pros as they coach you and hang out with you. Impress them, get sponsored and all of a sudden you are living the life you dreamed of. It happens so often that we kind of take it for granted. Come to camp - blow up. Seriously, it happens every year. Who knows maybe next year is your summer.
The Biggest and Most Perfect Snowpark
Whether you traveled to camp from two neighborhoods over or two continents over, you expect that when you are at camp that the park be the best park in the world. We take that responsibility seriously. COC’s park is double or triple the size of any other camp’s summer park. COC’s park is the only summer Olympic, XGames and TTR caliber slopestyle park. If that is where you want be in 2014, COC is where you need to be. The COC park looks like an epic winter park. Visiting pros call the COC Park one of the best snowparks in the world - winter or summer. It costs more to build a park like this but since you are trusting us with your future, we make sure we deliver.
COC is the only camp that grooms and salts their entire park every night by snowcat.
COC is the only summer camp that cuts their 22’ Halfpipe every night
COC is the only camp that salts everything every day and night.
COC is the only camp that doesn’t throw a single grain of salt by hand so that the terrain is evenly salted so when you ride you can feel the difference our attention to detail makes.
When you come to camp, know that everything has been built tuned and designed for you to progress.
The Most Progressive Park Design
The reason we can have such a progressive park is because our park is so damn big.
We take our park seriously. We know that to become the best rider you need to ride the best facilities. When we say “The Best”, this is how we back up that claim. We hire Steve Petrie and Arena Snowparks to build our park. You might have seen his work at the 2010 Olympics, and the Arctic Challenge and at events around the world. He’s the go to park builder for just about every big event. He does his most progressive work here at COC. It’s where he gets to build the park of dreams without limitations from sponsors, ski area management and all the other considerations that get in the way of having an “All Time” park. We give him a blank canvas with one goal and one specification, “Build the best, most progressive park for riders of every level.“
Steve doesn’t just excel at building huge pro features. He excels at building park features for any ability of rider so no matter what level you are, you can take you skills past where you thought possible due to the park being designed with your progression in mind.

The Only X-Games and Olympic Caliber Summer Park
If your dream is to do well in contests, you can’t progress fast enough. That is why COC with the only summer X-Games and Olympic caliber snowpark is where you need to train. Three different Air Bags for halfpipe and jump training, multiple hits in a row, lines, jump, jump, rail, rail, type riding. COC is the only summer park that has the multitude of lines necessary for contest training. You need to be able to ride different lines each with different flow because you never know what a contest layout is going to look like.
The Most Time Riding
We spend an average of 3 hours a day riding compared to other camps. COC campers get on the lift at 7:15AM and are riding by 8:00AM. We ride right up till 3:00PM. Of course, you can go up later and come down earlier if you want, as camp is what you make it, but most campers hit it as long as they can.
Other camps spend a lot less time on snow. Mt. Hood camps are on snow from 10:30AM - 2:30PM. Other camps in Whistler may start and end at the same time as COC but take leisurely 1.5 hour lunches in the lodge watching COC campers send it. We ride all day. You eat your lunch with your friends when you want to eat your lunch. We ride. All day. It's how you get good.
The Most Coaches
We have an amazing camper to coach ratio of between 1:4 and 1:8 depending on your ability. We structure our groups so that you are with a group size that maximizes your learning.

The Compound

It's your zone to do what ever you want.

The Most Time Riding
COC spends more time riding than any other camp in Whistler. Campers ride the Whistler Bike Park from 10AM - 5PM and then The Compound with it's dirt jumps, mulch pit and Big Air Bag from 6PM - 10PM. On average about 4.5 hours a day longer than other camps. You came to camp to ride, so lets ride all day.
The Most Coaching
With a coach to camper ratio of one coach for every three riders, nowhere has more coaching than COC. You ride the chair with your coach every run so you can ask any question you want. We ride in groups of two coaches and six campers so there is always a coach at the front you can learn from by following. There is also a coach at the back of the pack for safety in case you crash, there is a coach on the spot. You also learn from them as well because they also give you pointers on your technique while you ride up the chair or when you stop mid run. More Riding + More coaching = More Learning.
Make Friends From Around The World
COC had campers from over 18 countries last summer. There is nothing cooler than making life long friends from around the world.
The Compound
After every day in The Whistler Bike Park, we chill and have fun in “The Compound” our 45,000 square foot zone packed with fun things to do. With multiple lines through our jump lanes all ending in a mulch pit to our Big Air Bag with a small and large kicker so you can learn to go big and then actually go big, you can ride from 6-10PM daily. You can also skate, play basketball, shoot pool, play foosball, drink slurpees or eat ice cream, send it on The Launcher on skis or a snowboard, listen to tunes, get stupid on the bouncy features, or just hang and chill with your new friends. It's your zone to do what ever you want.
