2008

Best Money Ever Spent

I attended camp D 2008, I worked towards saving all the money, having a part time job and giving ski instruction throughout the winter. I just wanted to tell you that it was definitely the most amazing experience of my life, and best money ever spent. :) I love you guys and Camp of Champions and you will be seeing me camp C and D in 2009! I wanted to say thank you for everything and this winter my freestyle club organizer asked me to coach this winter as she saw my improvement when our club went to Lac Beau Port for the water ramps. Camp was super fun with tons to do. The ramp was epic. The coaches were the raddest personalities, such good riders and so easy to learn from. The staff was super chillin', good to talk to and they weren't drill sargents. - TJ Koskela

I just wanted to thank you guys for the most "WOW" week in my entire life! It was SO great. Back home I told i told my parents a thousand times: "I would rather stay there than come back here" or "I wanna go back to COC". Everyone I met wants to return next year and I surely will.
Special thanks to Silvia, my coach. She was the greatest coach I could ever have. She was just like one of our friends and we learned so much in only one week that I still can't believe it. :)

You made a dream come true

[Our Kids] were totally stoked: the trip was absolutely fabulous for them from start to finish! They loved the phenomenal scenery. They were so excited to watch and to learn from all of the amazing, incredible pros. They have always wanted to meet Simon Chamberlain, and they at last got to see him and watch him ride. They were impressed by the friendliness of everyone at the camp and how welcome the staff made them feel.

They flew home on Cloud 9 because of the gifts they won. They dreamed of having a new Stepchild and a new Nitro Board and getting to meet the teams, so now all the guys back home who didn't go are totally jealous and are getting ready to book for next year.

It was worth every penny and they are hoping and to stay a full month next year.

You made a dream come true for 2 young men. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

the best year ever

Thanks to everyone at COC for the best year ever. Your efforts to keep improving the experience are evident and, after four years, our boys couldn't say enough great things about it. We've always struggled to make Whistler happen because we believe in your program. I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you, and also that the socks were a great idea because...well, you know, boys and ski boots and socks and camp and snow.....enjoy your time off! the best camp out there on and off hill

I went to hood last summer for a while and after this last visit back to CoC, it's pretty obvious that camp of champs is the best camp out there on and off hill.

Hey everyone its me haha you know you all miss me already because I miss you guys. Home sucks but anyway I just wanted to say thanks for an amazing time! I couldn't have asked for a better summer ever. You all did an amazing job and I can't wait to come next year. I had a great time and I'll def be there next year.

So amazing, in fact, that he has asked me to cancel the school trip to europe he was to go on in 2008 so he can return to camp next july instead... for an 8 day session instead of 5... or longer even, if possible. Thanks for supplying such an awesome experience!

I don't even know where to begin...

I would just like to thank you all for the amazing time that I had. This was my first time going to camp ever, and I was a little nervous coming to COC, after looking at all the pictures and videos of all the pro skiers and snowboarders on the website. Not only was I coming alone, I was scared that I wouldn't be able to make any friends. But when I got there, I found friends right away, and I knew that I would have an awesome time at COC. The hotel was pretty sweet, and all the staff and coaches were super nice and easy to talk to. I had the best roommates ever; we clicked right away.

I don't even know where to begin with the park. It was probably the biggest snow park I have ever seen in my life, and I was so stoked just to try everything out. I tried so many new things, and I improved SO MUCH in snowboarding.

[...] I had the trip of a life time. I made so many new friends that I will definitely stay in contact with for years to come. I also learned SO MUCH in terms of snowboarding. Thanks for giving me an AMAZING time. You can definitely count on me coming back next year.
